Due to COVID and a lack of programs offered to prisoners, I started a non-profit prison program for prisoners and their families. Eventually I would love to get some grants to help me purchase material and postage so I can offer the program at no cost. I have been paying for everything out of pocket right now. I offer the same positive, life-skills programs as I do for people who aren’t incarcerated. Several of the prisoners doing the program sent testimonials which make my heart so happy.
