I grew up on a cattle ranch in the high mountains of Northern Nevada, 85 miles north of Elko, Nevada. I learned early on the value of hard work and animal companionship. Living close to nature, I realized how important it was to work with nature and become a steward for anything without a voice. The spiritual aspect of my life has always been an integral part of my well-being.
After graduating from Elko High School, I began my life’s journey by attending our local community college, getting married, raising two boys, and starting my dream business.
I planned, built, and operated Brebeau Kennels for 27 years. I employed up to 18 employees at times. I boarded and groomed dogs, cats, and horses. I also offered group and private obedience lessons and show training. I raised, and showed Golden Retrievers for many years and I also raised, showed, and judged Australian Shepherds all over the US, Canada, and Germany. I have had and shown many other breeds as well. Brebeau Kennels was a very successful business and I was very lucky to develop productive, long time employees. After 27 years, I sold my business to embark on another journey. In 2016, I finished my Bachelors of Arts in Human Development with an emphasis on Animal and Nature-Assisted Therapy, a minor in Business, and a minor in Liberal Arts, at Prescott College. I took care of people’s animals for 27 years, and now it was time to use animals to help people.
I also worked with youth for 45 years as the Elko County 4-H Dog leader, earning an award offered by the University of Nevada for being most valuable volunteer of 2014. I have coached and mentored troubled youth as well.
I am a certified life coach, earning my certificate from the Life Coach Institute of Orange County, in 2014.
I saw the need for support in our community. Thus I embarked on a new journey, by opening Body, Mind, & Soul Support Solutions.
I enjoy life on our small ranch with my husband, our small herd of cattle, horses, dogs, and cats. I enjoy showing cutting horses, and showing dogs in conformation and obedience. I love spending time with my husband, sons, and grandchildren. I also love hiking and spending time in nature.
As a coach, consultant, and mentor at Body, Mind, & Soul Support Solutions, I work with individuals, and facilitate support groups. I offer a holistic approach to life and the little speed bumps which affect us along the way. If the need for a specific support group is there, I will research and facilitate the group offering support, ideas, guest speakers, and giving meaningful homework to help people reach their full potential.
I specialize in health and wellness, which includes weight loss, stress reduction, and happiness, by treating the whole person, body, mind, & soul.
I also specialize in making good relationships great, facilitating human/canine relationships, life transitions, youth, happiness, grief, parenting, spirituality, and business and employee consulting, and leadership training.
I will also work with your company or organization to put together any type of support group you feel is needed by your employees or clients. I coach, consult, or mentor individuals privately and can help businesses develop exceptional employees.
I have also developed a correspondence life-coaching program for prisoners and their families. I felt with the lack of
programs being offered in prison, inmates needed something to empower them, change their negative thoughts,
behaviors, and hopefully reduce recidivism upon their release.
